UFC men’s flyweight champion Henry Cejudo stayed true to form with his cringe-worthy behavior.
UFC 238 media day took place in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, and as usual proceedings were capped off with the traditional faceoffs. The UFC had staredowns for the entire card (so you know it’s a big deal), including the vacant bantamweight title main event between men’s flyweight champion Henry Cejudo and Marlon Moraes.
I uh… even by Cejudo’s standards, this is pure cringe. He dresses like a king, wand in his hand, and does a callback by pulling out a fake snake from a hat and killing it. This is in reference to the TJ Dillashaw staredown from January. He whipped out a toy rabbit and punted it into the crowd, saying to Moraes “You’re thinking I’m playing. This is all a joke, huh? We’ll see Saturday! We’ll see Saturday.” Dana White apologized to two people who were hit by the objects, and the look on his face during the whole thing tells you all you need to know.
