UFC 238 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the sixth and final episode for this weekend’s big show in Chicago, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off with Tai Tuivasa and his team “getting a feed” at a Chicago restaurant. He sits in Al Capone’s booth. Jessica Eye is cutting weight and singing with Gray Maynard.
It’s weigh-in time. Marlon Moraes is 134. His son attacks him afterward. Valentina Shevchenko is 124. Henry Cejudo is 134, and intense for about four seconds. Tuivasa is 259. Then it’s nutella sandwich time. Donald Cerrone is with his son. Tony Ferguson weighs in at 155. Cowboy Cerrone is 155.5. Jessica Eye needs the towel to make 125, and she’s pumped.
Cowboy is crawling after his son while they wait for the bus to the ceremonial weigh-ins. Joe Rogan announces some stuff. El Cucuy and Cowboy are respectful as always. Shevchenko and Eye don’t say a thing to each other.
Moraes is cool and calm. Cejudo gets some boos. The staredown is very intense but nothing happens.
