SBG fighter James Gallagher launched a tirade towards a man he thought was his opponent’s coach at the Bellator London press conference.
After Bellator London’s press conference, James Gallagher confronted a man he thought was his opponent Jeremiah Labiano’s coach, however it turns out he wasn’t the American’s coach after all.
Captured by MMA Crazy, Gallagher threatened to slap the man he thought was Labiano’s coach after he commented on how “ The Strabanimal’s” fight with Labiano would end.
“Mate, you sit there and shut your f-cking mouth,” Gallagher said to the man. “You’re a coach…you’re a coach…let your fighter do his thing. You sit and shut your f-cking mouth. It’s not your job, you coach him, you train him to come and fight and you sit there and you shut your f-cking mouth.”
Labiano replied by stating he didn’t know who the man Gallagher confronted even was. MMA Fighting has since confirmed with Bellator officials that the person was actually not Labiano’s coach, instead it was one of his traveling fans.
“Mate, you shut your f-cking mouth. I’ve seen you walk around the hotel with him all week. It’s your coach,” Gallagher continued. “How unprofessional, your coach is sitting there like a little f-cking fool. He’s sitting right there in front of me.”
Doubling down by saying that wasn’t his coach, Labiano wasn’t having any of Gallagher’s smack talk and said the Irishman has been on his Instagram all day so he should “know who his coach is.”
The confrontation then ended as Gallagher continued his tirade towards Labiano, labeling his team as ‘braindead’ whilst being escorted out of the press conference.
