Considering he’s laid up until 2020, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Henry Cejudo, who recently captured his second title at bantamweight, should probably calm down with the rapid-fire call outs, especially if he’s going to target boxers like lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko.
I understand that mixed martial arts (MMA) is celebrating a win over the “sweet science” after former UFC featherweight journeyman, Artem Lobov, outpointed retired boxing loudmouth, Paulie Malignaggi (video), but you know what they say about levels and games.
Anyway, here’s “Triple C” shooting his shot.
Artem Lobov (13-15,MMA) former UFC fighter wins by unanimous victory over Paulie Malagnaggi (36-8, ,Boxing) former World Champion . What do you think an Olympic & #UFC champ Champ would do to #boxing ‘s @VasylLomachenko ? pic.twitter.com/uZDmFm5f1O

Still going:

I blame James Toney.
Cejudo has also been calling for a title shot in the UFC featherweight division and at this point, I can’t tell if he’s really serious about chasing all these titles or if he’s just enjoying all the reactions he’s getting on Twitter.
Either way, expect plenty more where this came from until his 2020 return.
