Chan Sung Jung wants a top four opponent next, but someone pretty close to that is calling him out.
The Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, needed just 58 seconds to dispatch a top-five featherweight in Renato Moicano at UFC Greenville over the weekend. KZ isn’t the type to call out an opponent, and he didn’t in the aftermath. He did indicate that he would like a top four opponent next though.
Well the rankings haven’t been updated yet coming out of the event, but someone who isn’t far off the top four is looking to step into the Octagon with Jung next – Jeremy Stephens. He respectfully called out Zombie on social media:
I’ll take the @KoreanZombieMMA next! Let’s go @danawhite @seanshelby @ufc it’s the most exciting fight to make. Congrats on quick work, see ya soon!

Stephens (28-16, 15-15 UFC) is currently on a two-fight losing streak, dropping a decision to Zabit Magomedsharipov after getting stopped by Jose Aldo. Before that, he had won three in a row and collected a performance bonus in each of the fights.
Jung (15-5, 5-2 UFC) rebounded from an incredible last-second loss to Yair Rodriguez by stopping Moicano in under a minute. He picked up another performance bonus, his seventh in seven UFC fights.
