Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently added a slew of new mixed martial arts (MMA) fights to its upcoming UFC on ESPN+ 16 fight card, including the return of heavyweight bruiser, Todd Duffee.
I mean hey, if Matt Wiman can make his way back to the Octagon, then why not?
The medically-challenged Duffee (9-3), who hasn’t competed since a knockout loss to Frank Mir back in summer 2015, will collide with “Contender Series” graduate Jeff Hughes (10-2). “Lights Out” dropped his Octagon debut to The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) alum, Maurice Greene.
Also going to war at UFC Vancouver will be light heavyweight veterans Glover Teixiera (29-7) and Nikita Krylov (25-6). The former is fresh off his submission win over Ion Cutelaba while the latter recently avenged his loss to Ovince Saint Preux.
Here’s the current UFC on ESPN+ 16 line up, which is still in search of a main event:
265 lbs.: Todd Duffee vs. Jeff Hughes
205 lbs.: Glover Teixeira vs. Nikita Krylov
185 lbs.: Antonio Carlos Junior vs. Uriah Hall
185 lbs.: Andrew Sanchez vs. David Branch
265 lbs.: Marcin Tybura vs. Augusto Sakai
205 lbs.: Misha Cirkunov vs. Jim Crute
