Jon Jones is looking in great shape ahead of his title defense against Thiago Santos at UFC 239.

Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones could pass for a heavyweight judging by his recent training photos on social media.

Jones, who will defend his light heavyweight title against Brazilian slugger Thiago Santos in the UFC 239 main event, looks to have gained some serious muscle mass ahead of next month’s championship bout.

“You got 11 days to figure out where you’re watching #UFC 239 @UFC,” Jones posted on Tuesday evening.

Jones, the former pound-for-pound No. 1, last fought earlier this year at UFC 235, where he defeated Anthony ‘Lionheart’ Smith via dominant unanimous decision at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. Prior to that, ‘Bones’ earned a technical knockout victory over Alexander Gustafsson in a light heavyweight championship rematch in the UFC 232 main event.

His opponent, 35-year-old knockout artist Thiago Santos, is on a four-fight win streak and is one of the most unorthodox and unpredictable fighters on the UFC roster. The American Top Team product last fought at UFC Fight Night 145, where he TKO’d Jan Blachowicz in the main event and earned a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

UFC 239: Jones vs. Santos takes place next month, July 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
