It’s gonna be hard for anyone to steal the knockout bonus from Eryk Anders after that violent finish.
It took “Ya Boi” Eryk Anders just 1:18 to defeat Vinicius Moreira in brutal fashion, stunning his opponent with a big left and a follow up right that dropped him, finishing things with piston-like ground and pound.
Check out the play-by-play for every detail from this fight and the rest of the early prelims.
There was a fair amount of criticism thrown the referee’s way for not stopping things sooner. Moreira was out on his feet after the first shot and undoubtedly took a few more punches than he had to. Watch the finish care of the UFC and decide for yourself:

The win from Anders breaks a bad three fight skid and was much needed victory for the former Alabama Crimson Tide football player. Before that, Anders’ sole career loss was to Lyoto Machida. He now sits at 12-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC. Vinicius Moreira drops his first UFC fight after getting picked up off Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. He is now 9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC.
