Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 239.
UFC 239 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in the Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at Jackson-Wink with Jon Jones talking to God. His coach talks about Jones fighting regularly again, like he did after he won the title initially back in the day. Thiago Santos is working out at the UFC Performance Institute. He’s jumping rope outside in the heat, and doing some shadowboxing.
Back at Jackson-Wink, Holly Holm is talking about her opponent and working out. Jones is working out there too, while Greg Jackson is saying funny things. Jones is working on armbars and name drops Ronda Rousey. His football player friend from the first episode is working out and Jones is talking him up.
Holm and Jones go out for lunch with their team. Jones is a terrible singer. Holm is too.
Ben Askren arrives in Vegas and gets a rental car, because he doesn’t like to be carted around by the UFC. He has a gigantic bag with nothing in it. He talks a little bit of trash about opponent Jorge Masvidal. Then he goes straight to the UFC PI to work out.
And that’s it! UFC 239 goes down this Saturday night in Vegas.
