“KGB” is reportedly set for a showdown with “JoJo” at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi.

Another fight has been added to the UFC’s return to Abu Dhabi.

MMAjunkie reported on Wednesday that women’s flyweights Joanne Calderwood and Andrea Lee have verbally agreed to fight at UFC 242 on September 7th. The UFC has not officially announced the contest.

Lee (11-2) is on a seven-fight winning streak, including three wins inside the Octagon. “KGB” recently dispatched Montana De La Rosa in an impressive performance at UFC Greenville. he also has decision victories over Ashlee Evans-Smith and Veronica Macedo, and came into the UFC as Legacy Fighting Alliance’s champion.

Calderwood (13-4) had her two-fight winning streak snapped by Katlyn Chookagian at UFC 238 last month. The Scotswoman had been competing primarily at strawweight during her UFC tenure, but she returned to 125 lbs last August by submitting Kalindra Faria. An impressive decision over Ariane Lipski set her up for a showdown with Chookagian, who bested her by unanimous decision.

Official UFC rankings have Calderwood at #5 and Lee at #7, although a win for Lee would really boost her hopes significantly of getting the next crack at the belt, which Valentina Shevchenko is expected to defend against Liz Carmouche next month in Uruguay.

UFC 242 features a lightweight championship main event between current titleholder Khabib Nurmagomedov and interim champ Dustin Poirier.
