Embedded! ‘Lioness’ Tames Competition At World MMA Awards

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back with episode five of its UFC 239 “Embedded” video series, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at some of the top names competing this Sat. night (July 6, 2019) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Headlining the UFC 239 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card is the light heavyweight showdown between 205-pound champion, Jon Jones, and top contender, Thiago Santos. In the UFC co-main event, Amanda Nunes defends her women’s bantamweight strap opposite former 135-pound titleholder, Holly Holm.

Today’s episode features highlights from the World MMA Awards, held earlier this week in Las Vegas (text results here). In addition, fans can check out some of the behind-the-scenes action from the UFC 239 media day.
