Dillon Danis found himself on the receiving end of what seemed to be a sucker-punch.
It seems Dillon Danis is getting into just as many scraps outside of the cage as he is inside the cage. The grappling ace and Conor McGregor’s notorious teammate was reportedly involved in an altercation inside of a New York City nightclub, according to Daily Mail. A video uploaded by MMAnytt shows Danis catching a right hand from a shirtless patron.
“Dillon was just sitting down relaxing and that shirtless guy with the yellow garland just attacked him,” an eyewitness reportedly said. “I was scared. It was vicious.” Danis refused to elaborate on the recent nightclub encounter, but he did address it in a text exchange with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani. “Danis tells me he’s OK,” Helwani tweeted on Monday. “He didn’t want to elaborate but wrote via text, ‘Another day in the life of Pablo.’”

Danis, 25, was famously involved in a pull apart brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov at the conclusion of UFC 229, reportedly suffering a concussion as a result of the fight.
He recently improved to 2-0 in professional mixed martial arts following a first-round armbar finish of Max Humphrey at Bellator 222.
