Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 240.
UFC 240 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Edmonton, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off in Orlando, where Felicia Spencer is doing her last day there. She has a little get-together with some of the kids she trains and they do belt promotions. Her coach talks about her being a Cyborg fan.
Max Holloway is walking around the streets of Edmonton. He’s laughing at his team wanting to go to the food district while he’s cutting weight. He sees the Stanley Cup and says it’s the greatest trophy he’s ever seen. Damn right it is!
Spencer is connecting through Toronto. Her teammate buys a shot glass there. Frankie Edgar is in the same waiting area, but Spencer is all nervous about going over for a picture because she’s a big fan.
Back to Holloway again. He talks about the Edgar fight while he signs posters. Spencer and Edgar get to Edmonton and on the bus to the hotel. She’s still nervous about him being around. She does some web media, and Edgar is discussing his entrance music choices. Finally Edgar is in the same room as Spencer, and asks if she wants a picture. She obviously does.
An actual narrative on Embedded? I’m impressed.
Edgar wraps things up with a training session, saying you’re gonna see two guys leave it all in there on Saturday night.
UFC 240 goes down in just two days in Edmonton.
