Preview! ‘Cyborg’ Ending UFC Contract With A Bang

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s featherweight champion, Cristiane Justino, battles undefeated division upstart, Felicia Spencer, in the upcoming UFC 240 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event on ESPN+ later tonight (Sat., July 27, 2019) inside Rogers Arena in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

“Cyborg” (20-2, 1 NC) hasn’t seen action since coughing up her 145-pound strap to women’s bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, via first-round knockout last December in California (see it again here). The loss was Justino’s first in 14 years, ending her terrorizing reign as the queen of the featherweights.

Spencer (7-0) had an explosive Octagon debut back in May, submitting Megan Anderson in the first round at UFC Fight Night 152 (video here). Prior to her UFC debut, “FeeNom” was doing work under the Invicta FC banner, winning six straight and capturing the promotion’s 145-pound title, along with three post-fight bonuses.
