Donald Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric will indeed be in attendance for Colby Covington’s main event fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC Newark this weekend.
UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington has been expecting the attendance of Donald Trump’s family for his main event fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC Newark this weekend. “Chaos” made another announcement via recent interview with TMZ.
“It’s good to be here and have the Trump support,” he said. “They’re gonna be front row at my fight this weekend when I retire Robbie Lawler.
“This is official – Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, [Donald Jr’s girlfriend] Kimberly Guilfoyle, and a bunch of other people are going to be there with them.”
There apparently is truth to Covington’s claims, as confirmed in a series of tweets by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

Quote from @DonaldJTrumpJr: “The reason I’m a fan of Colby is because he’s a winner who talks a lot of trash, but always backs it up … Just like someone else I know. I’m excited to be there cageside on Saturday to support him.”

Covington has been vocal about his support for the Trump Administration. In August of last year, Dana White granted him the opportunity to pay a personal visit President Trump at the White House. He was stripped of his interim title shortly thereafter, as Darren Till instead fought then-champion Tyron Woodley.
UFC Newark is scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd, at the Prudential Center. Co-headlining the event is a lightweight bout between veterans Jim Miller and Clay Guida.
