Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed back to “Beantown,” as UFC on ESPN 6 will invade TD Garden Arena on October 18, 2019 in Boston, Mass., featuring a Light Heavyweight bout between Chris Weidman and Dominick Reyes.

And the co-headlining act is just as enticing, as UFC president Dana White recently confirmed to ESPN that Zabit Magomedsharipov will make his return to face Calvin Kattar in Featherweight action.

Undefeated at 5-0 so far inside the Octagon, Zabit has quickly become a fan-favorite thanks to his unique and fast-paced fighting style. His biggest win thus far under the UFC banner came against Jeremy Stephens, outscoring the power-punching Featherweight at UFC 235 earlier this year to earn his thirteenth straight win.

Zabit was in talks to face Yair Rodriguez, but that fight ultimately fell by the wayside.

Kattar, meanwhile, has won two-straight, four of five inside the Octagon and 12 of 13 overall dating back to 2010. Last month at UFC 238, Kattar smoked Ricardo Lamas in the very first round, knocking out “The Bully” with a minute left in the opening frame (video highlights).

A win for either man will give him a huge boost in the 145-pound rankings, setting him up for a bigger bout moving forward, all while inching closer to a shot at the division strap currently held by Max Holloway.
