Get results right here for week six of season two of the Professional Fighters League.
The second season of the Professional Fighters League concludes its regular season tonight (August 8th), as Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey hosts PFL 2019, Week 6.
In the main event, Satoshi Ishii battles former UFC heavyweight Jared Rosholt in… well yeah, I can’t promise that one will be good. The co-main event features last year’s light heavyweight runner-up Vinny Magalhaes against Rakim Cleveland, and that should be more entertaining. There’s also the PFL debut of Umar Nurmagomedov, the cousin of UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov, as Umar fights Sidemar Honorio in a non-tournament bantamweight bout.
Once again, a weight cutting disaster has led to the immediate disqualification of a fighter. Ronny Markes didn’t make the light heavyweight limit, so Daniel Spohn got a free three points for the walkover win, while Markes was booted out of the competition.
Week 6 is all about the light heavyweights and heavyweights jockeying for playoff positioning, and Bloody Elbow is the place to be to discuss the event. The prelims begin at 8 PM ET on ESPN2 and followed by the main card at 10 PM ET on ESPN+.
