Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight fan favorite, Mike Perry, has 11 fights inside the Octagon with six wins and four post-fight bonuses, including last weekend’s “Fight of the Night” against Vicente Luque at UFC Uruguay.
And yet only has six dollars to show for it.
That’s according to “Platinum,” who told his Instagram followers that he still owes last year’s taxes, got bent over by Uruguay, and forked over 15 percent of his fight purse to management, leaving him unable to super size his extra value meal.
“58 to show, Uruguay took 17, management and team 15%,” Perry wrote. “Still got last year’s taxes. Nose job priceless. Money in the bank $6.00. 400k fans on IG tho.”
Perry suffered one of the worst broken noses in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA) following his loss to Luque (see it here). Hopefully he can use his combat sports fame to generate some scratch while he’s on the sidelines, otherwise it’s going to be a rough couple of months for the suspended slugger.
