Punch first, ask questions later.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, got in some hard sparring earlier this spring in anticipation of his mixed martial arts (MMA) return later this year.
Unfortunately it took place inside The Marble Arch Pub in Dublin, instead of Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland. Complicating matters was the fact that his sparring partner was not wearing head gear or even realized they were throwing hands.
But I guess that’s what happens when McGregor tries to pour you a shot of his Proper No. 12 whiskey and you refuse. Sure, it tastes like turpentine from a Turkish bathhouse, but it’s popular among the fellas!
The geriatric abuse took place back on April 6 and there’s no word yet if McGregor faced any civil or criminal repercussions, but I think we can all agree that “Notorious” needs to spend more time in the gym and less time in the general public.
