Watch Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva face off in Las Vegas to promote a new brand of fitness products.
The superfight may never have happened, but at least we finally got to see Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva face off in Vegas.
The UFC legends squared off in Las Vegas on Saturday to promote a new fitness brand called Limitless; check out the video below, courtesy of MMA Junkie.
St-Pierre, the former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion, retired from competition earlier this year but the 38-year-old admits he’s still interested in a possible superfight with undefeated lightweight champ, Khabib Nurmagomedov. According to Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, ‘The Eagle’ is also still very much interested in the match-up.
Silva, who turned 44 earlier this year, is still competing in the UFC’s middleweight division. Formerly the promotion’s middleweight champion, ‘The Spider’ is on a two-fight losing streak and is no longer ranked in the top-fifteen. Silva’s last win in the Octagon came over two years ago at Barclays Center in New York, where the Brazilian fan favorite earned a lackluster unanimous decision win Derek Brunson in the UFC 208 co-main event.
