Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its early (and official) weigh ins for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 159 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+, scheduled for this Sat. (Sept. 21, 2019) inside Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City.

Headlining the affair will be the featherweight slugfest between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens, who came face-to-face at the conclusion of today’s scale-tipping festivities. Featured below is the co-main event staredown between former strawweight champion Carla Esparza and local hero Alexa Grasso.

Elsewhere on the card, Brandon Moreno and Askar Askarov collide in flyweight action, while Irene Aldana takes on Vanessa Melo in a 140-pound catchweight fight. In addition, Martin Bravo slugs it out with featherweight bruiser Steven Peterson.
