Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Mexico City event, where Jeremy Stephens is now more favored than Yair Rodriguez in the main event.

UFC Fight Night Mexico City is scheduled to take place this Saturday, September 21st, with top-10 featherweights featured in the main event. Bloody Elbow is on deck with the betting lines.

The top of the billing will see the promotion’s #7 ranked 145-pounder Yair Rodriguez square up with the #8 Jeremy Stephens. The online betting site 5Dimes had Rodriguez starting his UFC Mexico City betting line as -165 favorite, with Stephens beginning with a moneyline of +125. Since first dropping, the betting public has moved in the direction of Stephens, sending his line down to a favored value of -110. As for Rodriguez, he is now available at both plus and minus marks, ranging from -109 up to +100.

The over/under for this clash of proven strikers has been set at 3.5 rounds. The ‘under’ can be found in the favored role at an assessment of -122. As for the ‘over,’ a +107 tag is an option. The UFC Mexico City main event has been projected to end early. The exotic bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is considerably favored, trending at -195. The prop ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ sits at an underdog value of +160. For the record, Rodriguez has only seen one decision in his last five outings, and Stephens had no need for the scorecards in three of his last four fights.

The bookies peg Stephens as the one more likely to come up with the finish. ‘Stephens wins inside distance’ is available at +155, with ‘Not Stephens inside distance’ sticking at -180. Going back the other way, ‘Rodriguez wins inside distance’ can be scooped up for a much loftier +225, with ‘Not Rodriguez inside distance’ holding at -285.

The co-main event for Mexico City will involve top-10 strawweights. The UFC’s #8 ranked Carla Esparza is slated to throw down with the #9 ranked Alexa Grasso. Bettors can acquire Grasso straight up for -125, with the former champ Esparza holding at +115.

The over/under for the co-main has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘over’ is massively favored here with a puffy favored moneyline of -420, with a +355 comeback on the ‘under.’ Considering the amount of decisions shared between them, it’s no surprise to see the line setters expecting this one to go the distance. ‘Fight goes to decision’ is quite favored at -375, with ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ hovering at +285.
