Watch Jeremy Stephen’s physical confrontation with Yair Rodriguez after UFC Fight Night 159.
Video footage has surfaced of Jeremy Stephens’ backstage confrontation with UFC Fight Night 159 opponent Yair Rodriguez, where ‘Lil Heathen’ is shown pushing ‘El Pantera’ after being confronted by the 26-year-old at a hotel in Mexico City.
The confrontation comes after their underwhelming UFC Fight Night 159 main event at Mexico City Arena, where Rodriguez landed an accidental eye poke on Stephens at 0:15 of the first round, which resulted in the bout being ruled a No Contest (NC).
Check out video footage of the hotel scuffle below, with a transcript provided by Bloody Elbow’s Shakiel Mahjouri.
Stephens: “Run it back, let’s run it back”
Yair: “Relax” (?)
Yair: “Are you sure? What happened?”
(Shove)
Stephens: “You’re a f**king p**sy, bro”
Yair: “You’re going to have to live with that for the rest of your life… you’re a p**sy… You’re going to have to live with that for the rest of your f**king life, p**sy.”
Yair: “Not me, I’m fine.”
Stephens: “Real easy to poke somebody in the eye. Let’s run it back. Call Sean, run it back.”
Yair: “Yeah, let’s run it back. How about yesterday? (something something) f**king p**sy”
Stephens: “You poked me in the eye, f**got”
Yair: “Yeah, f**got”
Stephens: “You poked me in the f**king eye.”
Yair: “I couldn’t f**king see s**t for my Frankie Edgar fight”
Stephens: “Keep running your mouth, bro, I’ll see you soon… I’ll see you soon, motherf**ker.”
Yair: “See you soon”
Stephens, who is looking to snap a two-fight losing skid, has called for an immediate rematch with Rodriguez but believes the 26-year-old will duck him.
