We have a title fight!
The vacant IBF middleweight title between Gennadiy Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs) and Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-1, 10 KOs) is now official, as both men had no problem coming in under the 160 lbs limit. This is Golovkin’s second fight on DAZN and his first title bout since losing to Canelo Alvarez last year. For Derevyanchenko, it’s his second attempt at winning the IBF belt after a narrow loss to Daniel Jacobs in 2018. This should be an entertaining matchup at Madison Square Garden.
