Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight title contender, Chan Sung Jung, is roughly two months out from his UFC Fight Night 165 headliner against Brian Ortega, who also knows a thing or two about challenging for gold, in the Dec. 21 event on ESPN+ from inside Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea.

The promotion brought both combatants together this week for their first official face off, conveniently embedded above by way of “Korean Zombie’s” Instagram account.

Jung (15-5) rebounded from his stunning knockout loss to rising contender Yair Rodriguez in late 2018 to obliterate Renato Moicano at UFC Greenville back in June, just his third fight since returning from active military duty in South Korea.

Ortega (14-1, 1 NC), meanwhile, suffered the first loss of his mixed martial arts (MMA) career when he was beaten pillar to post by Max Holloway at the UFC 231 pay-per-view (PPV) event last December in Toronto, a bout that left him with multiple injuries.
