Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s early UFC Singapore card, where Demian Maia meets Ben Askren in the main event.
Two of the very best grapplers in MMA today are set to headline the UFC Singapore card this Saturday, October 26th, and Bloody Elbow has the betting lines. This featured fight will pit Jiu-Jitsu guru Demian Maia against wrestling savant Ben Askren, and please pray to the MMA gods for them to grapple it out.
Askren own the favored role here, being shown respect by the bookies with a minus line of 160. As for Maia, he has been placed in the underdog slot, registering at +150. The over/under for this clash of grappling styles has been set at 4.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ holds a favored moneyline of -125, and the ‘Under’ is an underdog option at +112. Both of the prop bets involving whether or not the scorecards will be reached sit at minus marks. ‘Fight goes to decision’ is resting at -125, with ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ holding at -105.
The bet-setters project that Askren earning a nod is his most likely path to victory. The exotic bet ‘Askren wins by decision’ clocks in at +125. For his other possible ways to win, there is ‘Askren wins by TKO/KO’ at +420, ‘Askren wins by submission’ at a whopping +1100, and then the all encompassing ‘Askren wins inside distance’ available at +320. As for Maia, his fight ending early prop holds the smallest moneyline here. ‘Maia wins inside distance’ is on the table at +245. At a bit greater value, gamblers can take the price on ‘Maia wins by submission’ for +325. His other props include ‘Maia wins by TKO/KO’ at +835, and ‘Maia wins by decision’ at +645.
In the UFC Singapore co-main event, the heavy handed Michael Johnson is slated against always game Stevie Ray. Johnson is quite favored by the bookies in this one. His moneyline currents sits at -245, with a +225 comeback on Ray. The over/under for this lightweight tilt has been assessed at 2.5 rounds. At =180, it is the ‘Over’ that holds the favored moneyline. The ‘Under’ has been valued at an underdog tag of +165. The oddsmakers project that this bout will need all 15-minutes to determine a winner. ‘Fight goes to decision’ is strongly favored, trending at -160, with ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ hanging out around +130.
