The whole point of releasing these “Fight Motion” videos, also known as “Ghost Cam” in some circles, is so that mixed martial arts (MMA) fans can watch some of the slam-bang action in super-slow motion. Safe to say there was plenty of that from the UFC 244 card last weekend in New York.

But while the promotion doesn’t typically show main card finishes, because it wants you to actually buy the pay-per-view (PPV) events, fans were hoping for an exception in the Kevin Lee vs. Gregor Gillespie fight, which saw “Motown Phenom” score one of the most sensational finishes in modern history.

A sample of the YouTube feedback:

“Absolutely trash for leaving out the head kick from Lee.”

“Dammit UFC, I wanted to see Kevin KOing Gregor in slo mo, DISLIKE”

“EVERY SINGLE TIME You miss violent head kicks and KOs Fuckn snowflakes”

No worries, we have you covered right here.

A couple of takeaways from this latest entry: How the hell did Blagoy Ivanov eat so many clean punches from Derrick Lewis and not die? And watching Johnny Walker take one straight down the pipe from Corey Anderson makes me wonder what his gameplan was.
