“I’d love to see it, I’d love to see it for the entertainment factor. He’d probably do well, whoever he gets, I don’t know.”

Earlier this month, video footage was released showing UFC middleweight Darren Till teaching Tyson Fury the basics of MMA — and it was pretty damn good.

Fury has flirted with a move to mixed martial arts in the past and, after getting to train with ‘The Gypsy King’ first hand at Team Kaobon, Till believes there’s a ‘70-30’ chance the heavyweight boxing champion will eventually sign with the UFC.

And, if that’s the case, Till would love to coach Fury for a cut of the pay. It’s estimated that Fury earned a whopping £11.9 million for his professional wrestling match with Braun Strowman last month at WWE Crown Jewel.

“I think it’s about a 70-30. 70 yes, 30 no,” Till said in a recent interview with BT Sport (h/t MMA Fighting)/ “We’ve got to remember boxing to MMA is very different as well. A lot of things, especially pay. He’s in WWE, he’s making a lot of money. He’s a top-3 heavyweight.

“I’d love to see it, I’d love to see it for the entertainment factor. He’d probably do well, whoever he gets, I don’t know. Maybe Stipe wants to fight, probably thinks that he could box him. I don’t think so, but I hope so. Maybe I’ll be on a little percentage of that, as Coach Till, get a contract in place.”

Before there’s any talk of a crossover fight with UFC heavyweight champ Miocic, however, Fury must first get past Deontay Wilder. The 31-year-old fought Wilder to a draw in a twelve-round epic last year at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and both men are expected to rematch in the new year.
