Flyweights Ray Borg and Rogerion Bontorin are reportedly headed to New Mexico on February 15.

Former flyweight title challenger Ray Borg is reportedly headed back to the 125-pound division after a two-bout stint at bantamweight. Per Combate, the ‘Taxmexican Devil’ will square off against Contender Series Brazil’s Rogerio Bontorin, who is still undefeated in the Octagon, at UFC Rio Rancho.

In his last outing, Borg (12-4) picked up a unanimous decision win over Gabriel Silva back in July. The victory snapped a two-fight losing skid for the 26-year-old, with a unanimous decision loss to Casey Kenney in Borg’s first UFC bantamweight bout, which he missed weight by one pound, and a submission defeat against then-champion Demetrious Johnson, back in October 2017.

Currently on a two-fight winning streak in the Octagon, Bontorin (16-1) will look for his fifth straight win overall. In his last two fights, the 27-year-old defeated the likes of Magomed Bibulatov and most recently, back in August, Raulian Paiva. Bontorin scored a UFC contract after a submission win over Gustavo Silva in the very first episode of Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil and has not lost a fight since his sole defeat, a rear-naked choke loss to Octagon vet Michinori Tanaka in October 2017.

UFC Rio Rancho goes down on February 15. So far, no main event has been linked to the card yet.
