Tito Ortiz has his eyes set on bringing Logan Paul into the world of MMA.

Logan Paul has apparently caught the combat sports bug and Tito Ortiz is interested in introducing him to the dangerous world of mixed martial arts.

Paul and Ortiz have been in discussions about bringing the controversial YouTuber into the former UFC champion’s yard. Paul, who is coming off a split decision loss to fellow YouTuber KSI at a recent DAZN boxing event, told the streaming platform that he could be teaming up with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.”

“We were talking about MMA honestly,” Paul told DAZN. “Boxing is cool, but I feel like my future is in MMA… I will be fighting a third time.”

Paul also noted that he wasn’t sure if a KSI trilogy is in the cards, whether in boxing or MMA.

“I don’t know if it will be against KSI. If I were KSI, I wouldn’t fight me again. That seems silly. The circumstances really worked out for him that day. It just seems like it would be really dangerous for him.”

Ortiz is not in a rush, however, to get the Internet sensation in the cage.

“When a young guy like that who happened just to have a bright mind and strong and wanna work hard, it’s good to see,” he told Little Giant Boxing (h/t BJ Penn). “You wanna make sure you build guys the right way. When they’re young, they gotta be built the right way, they gotta do the right things so I couldn’t give an opponent. I wanna make sure how good he was in MMA in general.”

Ortiz is set to face Alberto El Patron in a Combate Americas pay-per-view main event on December 7th. Paul is in the middle of an appeal of his loss to KSI, which saw Logan docked two points for illegally hitting KSI while he was down.
