You have to see this amazing win for “Thug Nasty.”
Bryce Mitchell has surely locked up a performance bonus already thanks to a truly rare victory.
On the UFC on ESPN 7 preliminary card, the featherweight was able to tap Matt Sayles out with a “Twister” submission, which has only been accomplished inside the Octagon just once before in the promotion’s history. Mitchell’s finishing move came inside the final minute of the opening round, and Sayles had no idea what to do other than to surrender.
Watch the video below, because what you’re about to witness is something that just doesn’t happen every day in MMA, let alone the UFC. You can also check out Paul Felder and Jon Anik losing their minds, and rightly so.

You have to go back to 2011 to find the previous “Twister” win in the UFC, when Chan Sung Jung beat Leonard Garcia in a rematch of their 2010 classic.
Mitchell was previously best known for this horrible drilling accident that proved to be extremely harmful to his nether regions. Now “Thug Nasty” can boast that he’s one of just two fighters to ever win via “Twister” in UFC history.
