The European promotion kick off their 2020 schedule with a show from BEC Arena, Manchester on March 7 featuring plenty of talent from the North West.

Newly-crowned Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, Jack Cartwright, will defend his title when the promotion lands in Manchester for the first time in their history on March 7. Adam Proctor, James Webb, and Mick Stanton are also scheduled to appear on the card, which will kick off the busiest year in Cage Warriors history, as they look to expand further across the region.

Cartwright (7-0) burst onto the domestic scene when he ran through a one-night, four-man bantamweight tournament to claim the vacant Cage Warriors title. In the process of sweeping the field, the Englishman stopped two former title contenders, Scott Malone and Marko Kovacevic, via first round KO. The undefeated fighter has finished all of his seven career victories and will be looking to make another statement at the BEC Arena. An opponent is set to be named in the coming weeks.

Proctor (11-1) is one of the best welterweights in the promotion and will intend on picking up another victory in Manchester to stake his claim to a title shot. He signed a multi-fight Cage Warriors deal last year and has gone 2-0 in the company since. ‘The Love Doctor’ earned unanimous decision victories over Angelo Rubino and Olli Santalahti in those contests and will hope to continue that momentum into the new year.

Webb (6-2-1) is looking to bounce back immediately following the loss of his middleweight belt last month. The Team KF product is coming off of two hard fought battles with Nathias Frederick who he re-matched after a controversial draw. He was stopped by Frederick with one second to spare in the fourth round last time out and will be intent on getting himself straight back into the title picture with a victory.

Stanton (6-3) is riding a three-fight winning streak and another dominating performance in March could earn him a crack at the middleweight belt. Fan favourites, Martin Stapleton (19-7) and Adam Ventre (8-4, 1NC) will also return to action while Scott Malone (6-3) and Liam Gittins (5-0) look to add further wins to their records.

Official match-ups for the card are due to be announced shortly.
