BKFC
Hector Lombard and Joe Riggs, who combined have well over 100 mixed martial arts (MMA) fights for just about every combat sports promotion you can think of, will face off for the first time ever at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) 10, scheduled for Sat., Feb. 15, 2020 in Miami, Florida.
Lombard, who turns 42 in less than two months, will be making his bare-knuckle boxing debut after more than a decade in cage fighting, which includes a couple of stops in both kickboxing and modified-rules bouts earlier in his career.
“I’ve wanted to fight for this amazing organization for a while and I’m excited that it’s all come together,” Lombard said in a recent press release. “Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is the next level of fighting and I am glad to be part of it.”
The well-traveled Riggs, 37, also migrated from the MMA world but already has four bare-knuckle boxing bouts under his belt, boasting a record of 3-0 with one draw, which came against Walber Barros at BKFC 6 back in June.
