Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just two days out from its UFC Fight Night 165: “Edgar vs. Korean Zombie” mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+, scheduled for Sat., Dec. 21, 2019 inside Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea.
Originally topped by Brian Ortega vs. Chan Sung Jung, the promotion will now deliver Frankie Edgar to “The Korean Zombie” because Ortega was felled by injury and forced to withdraw, which means “The Answer” is unlikely to face Cory Sandhagen at UFC Raleigh in January.

Edgar (23-7-1) is still expected to move down to bantamweight after coming up short against then-champion Max Holloway at UFC 240 last July, a loss that effectively eliminated him from the championship race for the foreseeable future.
As for Jung (15-5), he remains ranked in the No. 6 spot after stopping Renato Carneiro at UFC Greenville back in June. “The Korean Zombie” is 2-1 since making his Octagon return in 2017 with none of those fights making it to the scorecards.
