An x-ray shows Doo Ho Choi’s broken forearm, which happened on the first round of his fight against Charles Jourdain at UFC Busan.
After almost a year in the sidelines, Doo Ho Choi made his Octagon return at UFC Busan on Saturday. “The Korean Superboy” was matched up against Charles Jourdain, who was coming off an unsuccessful UFC debut last May.
Both featherweights put on a performance during their main card fight, trading flying knees and hard punches. However, it was the 24-year-old Canadian who emerged victorious via second-round TKO, notching his first win inside the Octagon.
The loss marked Choi’s third straight in a span of three years. To make matters worse for him, he also suffered an injury that could potentially put him out of action for quite a while once again.
As seen on the Twitter post of Kumite TV’s John Hyon Ko, Choi apparently broke his left forearm during the first round of his exchanges with Jourdain.

On the upside, Choi will take home an extra $50,000 for Fight of the Night honors, his fifth straight post-fight bonus.
