Tyron Woodley will make his Octagon return after more than a year on the sidelines when he battles Leon Edwards in the five-round welterweight main event set for Sat., March 21, 2020 on ESPN+ from inside O2 Arena in London, England.

That’s according to a report from MMA Junkie.

“Leon, watch what you ask for,” Woodley wrote on social media. “Now you about to get fucked clean up at the crib! UFC, send me that lil’ fancy flier to post!”

Woodley (19-4-1) has not seen action since getting dominated by Kamaru Usman at the UFC 235 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in March, a lopsided decision loss that cost “The Chosen One” his 170-pound title.

“So you finally accepted the fight Tyron,” Edwards fired back. “See you on March 21st in London, you little pussy.”

Edwards (18-3) is coming off his unanimous decision win over former lightweight champion, Rafael dos Anjos, at the UFC San Antonio event last June. Topping the Brazilian improved his current win streak to eight, dating back to his Usman loss roughly four years ago.

UFC London will also feature the light heavyweight showdown pitting Paul Craig against Ryan Spann. Elsewhere on the card, Darren Stewart and Marvin Vettori collide at 185 pounds, while Danny Roberts and Nicolas Dalby hook ‘em up for welterweight bragging rights.
