Bellator 237 will feature two guys that are heavier than usual in their headlining bout.
Remember back in the day when Quinton Jackson was a 205-pound champion? Well, it doesn’t seem like he’ll ever get back to those glory days – at least on the scale. Today at the Bellator 237/Rizin weigh-in ahead of his fight against Fedor Emelianenko in Japan, Rampage came in just under the heavyweight limit at 265 pounds.
For the record, Fedor was quite a bit heavier than normal as well, coming in at 240.5 pounds.
Jackson has been over 240 pounds for his last four fights, but this is the first time he’s cracked 260.
Here’s a look at how everyone on the main card fared. It should be noted that a couple of these fights are catchweight bouts, and it appears that both Lorenz Larkin and Goiti Yamauchi missed weight.
You can watch Bellator 237 on DAZN tomorrow at 10pm ET.
