The UFC’s Fight Night in Columbus in March is continuing to shape up, as Tecia Tores will fight Mizuki Inoue on the card.
Tecia Torres will hope to snap a four fight losing streak when she fights Mizuki Inoue at a UFC Fight Night taking place in Columbus in March.
The UFC announced the matchup on Friday. Earlier this week several other fights were also announced for the Columbus card, such as a heavyweight fight between Greg Hardy and Yorgan De Castro and light-heavyweight matchup between Khalil Rountree and Sam Alvey.
Torres (10-5) was once undefeated in the UFC, but of late she has struggled to get a win. “Tiny Tornado” lost decisions in 2019 against Marina Rodriguez and now champion Weili Zhang. Last year, Torres also dropped consecutive decisions to former champions Joanna J?drzejczyk and Jessica Andrade.
Inoue (14-5) is a former Invicta FC strawweight title challenger, who made her UFC debut in August. The 25-year-old was successful in her debut, winning a split decision against Yanan Wu at UFC Shenzhen. Inoue has only lost once in her last seven MMA fights.
UFC Columbus is scheduled to take place on March 28th at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. A heavyweight fight between knockout artists Jairzinho Rozenstruik and former title challenger Francis Ngannou will headline the card.
