Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes simply cannot get along! The two are set to clash at UFC 247 on February 8th from inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, but it seems likely that there will be plenty more traded insults between then and now.

This exchange began innocuously enough. Reyes expressed his belief that his time was now and he was ready to fulfill his destiny — pretty standard MMA-speak with an additional mention of his football background.

Reyes’ original tweet did not mention Jones or slight him in any way, but it was still enough to prompt a response from the Light Heavyweight champion.

Reyes answered back, essentially calling Jones unlikable in GIF form.

And lastly, Jones had to get the last word in, claiming that Reyes’ original Tweet was merely a cry for attention. Wait, isn’t that what all Tweets are?

Is it even possible to imagine a more petty “feud?” It’s unlikely to end until the fight, and even then, this one may last a while. Reyes has already promised to rematch Jones in the seemingly unlikely event that he wins, and if Jones does defend his title yet again, he seems to fall into this trash-talking pattern with almost every new contender.

Quinton Jackson found a silver lining in his loss to Fedor Emelianenko.

Poor Mike Perry, most of his best-liked pictures of 2019 are him covered in his own blood.

Dan Henderson is the man.

It’s always interesting to see a coach actually show off their own skill set, particularly if they were never active combatants.

Body-head!

That clunk is the sound of an ankle colliding with a temple.

Midnight Music: What can one say about a song that’s completely established as a classic? I know it’s good, you know it’s good — let’s just listen again and leave it at that.
