BMF may soon stand for Bravest Mother F—ker.
That’s because UFC welterweight contender, Jorge Masvidal, is flying to Australia to help firefighters battle the out-of-control blazes that have already consumed more than 20 million acres, which includes 25 deaths and more than half a billion animals lost.
“This is scary,” Masvidal wrote on social media. “I’ll be in Australia in February and would like to help. Proceeds from my visit will go to help but I also want to physically help put out the fires.”
Masvidal is making the media rounds in the wake of his UFC 244 win over Nate Diaz last November in New York, perhaps waiting for reigning 170-pound titleholder, Kamaru Usman, to figure out his next move.
Unfortunately, Dana White and Co. are likely to prevent Masvidal from embarking on his firefighting endeavor, because “Gamebred” is a box-office draw and the promotion frowns on death-defying activities when there is money to be made.
Just ask this guy.
