Check out new video footage of Conor McGregor’s 13-second KO of Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
The UFC has released new video footage of Conor McGregor’s iconic knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 194, showing the action from an entirely new perspective. McGregor, who will return to the Octagon later this month to take on Donald Cerrone at UFC 246, KO’d ‘Scarface’ in just thirteen seconds of the opening round to become the promotion’s first ever Irish featherweight champion.
The new video footage follows Conor McGregor from an over-the-shoulder perspective and shows Aldo’s immediate reaction to the KO. McGregor’s cornermen were surprised by how fast the fight ended but ‘The Notorious’ was keen to remind them of the devastating power possessed in his ‘hammer’ of a left hand, which Tristar head coach Firas Zahabi has often referred to as ‘the touch of death’.

McGregor, 31, hasn’t fought since his fourth-round submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, which saw the SBG Ireland suffer the second submission defeat of his UFC career.
UFC 249: McGregor vs. Cerrone will take place on January 18 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
