Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, and Phil Mackenzie are back to watch more of the best of the worst of MMA that we can find. With a focus on the UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, and the WEC.

With 2020 already swinging into a slow building horror of bad news, what better time than to look back on what made 2019 so worth leaving behind. That’s why this week the MMA Depressed-us is hunting out the most amazingly terrible UFC bouts of the year. We’d hoped that list would include Blachowicz vs. Jacare, but apparently that fight was too bad even for Fight Pass.

Instead, we’re featuring Ed Herman vs. Khadis Ibragimov from their Nov. 9th performance at UFC on ESPN+ 21: Magomedsharipov vs Kattar in Moscow. Followed by Derek Brunson vs. Elias Theodorou, from their May 4th appearance at UFC on ESPN+ 9: Iaquinta vs Cowboy in Ottawa. And wrapping up a main event bout showcasing Valentina Shevchenko vs. Liz Carmouche II, from their August 10th title fight at UFC on ESPN+ 14: Shevchenko vs. Carmouche 2 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

If you want to follow along with the show at home, pull up each of the three fights on Fight Pass and hit play when Zane counts down. For viewers that don’t have Fight Pass, but do have the fights, they can join in by starting round 1 along with Connor’s prompt.
