Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has unveiled the poster for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 167 event set to go down Feb. 15, 2020 Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, which will air exclusively on ESPN+.
The event will feature a Light Heavyweight rematch between Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz. Corey initially defeated Jan in their first fight four years ago at UFC 191. And despite “Overtime’s” request for a shot at the division strap, the promotion opted to give him another crack at Blachowicz instead.
That said, it’s safe to assume that the victor here will get a title shot against the winner of the upcoming championship fight between division king, Jon Jones, and Dominick Reyes, which is set to go down at UFC 247 on Feb. 7, 2020 in Houston, Texas.
In the co-main event, Albuquerque’s own Diego Sanchez will fight in his hometown for the first time in a long time when he faces Michel Pereira in Lightweight action, while former Flyweight title contender, Ray Borg, returns to face Rogerio Bontorin. The event will feature several other fighters from the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque area, including John Dodson, Nicco Montano and Lando Vannata, just to name a few.
