See behind the scenes footage of Conor McGregor’s preparation for the UFC 246 main event.
It’s been one week since you looked at me 15 months since Conor McGregor’s last UFC fight, and more than three years since the former two-division champion’s last win inside the Octagon. As he makes his return to competition against Donald Cerrone, TheMacLife team has provided some footage of McGregor getting ready for next week’s UFC 246 main event.
In the video posted above, you get access into Conor’s training camp and find out that he actually hired a DJ named Conor Bissett to work the music in the gym. As far as the actual workout, there’s a good chunk of the clip dedicated to watching him throw single shots or combinations… actually it’s just entirely boxing. Not a kick or elbow or knee to be seen. Was it boxing with “MMA angles” that were so heavily discussed when he fought Floyd Mayweather in 2017? You be the judge.
McGregor vs. Cerrone will be contested at 170 lbs but for a lightweight title shot should Conor prevail. UFC 246 takes place on Saturday, January 18th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
