UFC President Dana White insists that Conor McGregor is going to be fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov now that “Notorious” has disposed of Donald Cerrone, thanks to a scintillating technical knockout finish at UFC 246 last weekend in Las Vegas (watch it).
I guess the bookies didn’t get the memo.
Neither did McGregor, who doesn’t appear interested in running it back with “The Eagle” after finding his rhythm at welterweight. And we should also mention that his Nanny Masvidal has also been asking for a crack at the power-punching Irishman his next time out.
The odds are reflected accordingly.
I’ll watch…@GamebredFighter the -200 favorite to be Conor McGregor’s next opponent.
Then:
Khabib +300
Gaethje +600
Usman +900
Diaz +1000
Mayweather +1200
Ferguson +1400Which fight do you want to see?

Floyd Mayweather has also thrown his name into the rematch hat.
Like McGregor, Masvidal also competed at lightweight but found his body healthier and more destructive at welterweight. The result has been three straight finishes and a possible title shot against Kamaru Usman at some point later this year.
That said, a McGregor payday is hard to turn down.
It also helps that Nurmagomedov will be defending his lightweight title against Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 in Brooklyn, so McGregor — who wants to fight again in March — would have to wait until this summer to record his second fight of 2020.
