Former UFC strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, has been known to play mind games with her opponents. But lately it seems like every time she tries to get mouthy on social media, reigning 115-pound titleholder, Weili Zhang, is right there to shut her down.
Perhaps that’s why Jedrzejczyk refused to fight her not once, but three times.
As luck would have it, Zhang is now the strawweight champion and Jedrzejczyk is the next available contender, which has led to some humorous back-and-forth exchanges. But the power-punching Pole may have gone too far with her latest Instagram story.
One that mocked the coronavirus outbreak in Zhang’s backyard.
Zhang with the pragmatic retort:
As of this writing, coronavirus has killed 132 people and infected over 6,000.
Zhang will defend her title in the UFC 248 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, scheduled for Sat., March 7, 2020 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
