Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal may have generated a little more interest in their potential “superfight” after a verbal altercation at Super Bowl media day.
Everyone and their mothers captured footage of an altercation between UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and BMF titleholder Jorge Masvidal at Super Bowl media day in Miami on Wednesday.

Multiple angles of the exchange show Usman and Masvidal jawing at each other from a short distance. UFC reps were positioned between the two men to avoid a scuffle. Usman seemed to be the agitated party with Masvidal remaining cold as ice throughout.
“Do something!” Usman was heard shouting. “That’s all I hear you talking. Do something! You come up talking. Do something!”
“You got a cast on, b—ch. I ain’t going to take advantage of you like that,” Masvidal replied, standing next to his manager Abraham Kawa. “You got a cast on b—ch. You lucky. That’s the only reason nothing’s happening.”

The next matchup for both men is uncertain. Masvidal is the most deserving contender that Usman has yet to defeat; however, “Gamebred” is angling for a money match with Conor McGregor. The “Notorious” seems more interested, on the surface at least, of fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov.
