Raoni Barcelos will face his toughest test yet while trying to remain undefeated in the UFC.
Raoni Barcelos is perfect in the UFC thus far, but his next opponent might have something to say about that. Brazilian outlet Combate reported today that Barcelos will meet Cody Stamann at UFC on ESPN 8 in Columbus on March 28th.
Barcelos (15-1, 4-0 UFC) has won all four of his UFC fights so far, with three coming inside the distance. His last victory came via decision over Said Nurmagomedov in December.
Stamann (18-2-1, 4-1-1 UFC) is coming off a majority draw with Song Yadong in December. His only loss in six UFC outings thus far came at the hands of Aljamain Sterling in September of 2018. He is currently ranked at number 10 at 135 pounds in the official UFC rankings.
UFC Columbus will be headlined by a heavyweight slugfest between Francis Ngannou and Jarzinho Rozenstruik. Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt will also be making his return on the card, facing off with perennial contender Raphael Assuncao.
