Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 247.

UFC 247 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Houston, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off at the Athlete Panel. Also known as a press conference. Ilir Latifi makes his first appearance in Embedded, saying that people wanted him to drop to 185, but he’s going the other way. Dominick Reyes is ready to bleed. Katlyn Chookagian isn’t going to play Valentina Shevchenko’s game.

Derrick Lewis gets a big reaction in H-Town. He’s looking for the first round KO. Shevchenko is going to be careful, regardless of opponent. Jon Jones is out now, to a mixed reaction. Jones isn’t going out there to box, he’s going to fight an MMA fight.

Chookagian is working out a little later than normal. She fights up to the level of her opponents, and Valentina is the best. She’s not going to charge in and get countered.

Dana White is out to shake some hands. Face-offs. All respectful. Chookagian believes her range is an advantage. Shevchenko’s is her mentality. Reyes is saying this is who he is, he’s not faking this confidence. Jones thinks he’s reaching. He thinks Reyes is saying very strange things.
