UFC 247 injuries and medical suspensions for the athletes who competed at the “Jones vs Reyes”-led pay-per-view (PPV) event on Saturday (Feb. 8, 2020) from inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, have been released by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) via MMA Fighting.

Leading the way in mandatory sits as she has been benched until August 7, 2020. Unfortunately, the TDLR does not release details regarding injuries, as it only gives a time frame for a potential return. That said, it’s hard to tell just what kind of health setback “Bullet” suffered during her three-round beat down of Katlyn Chookagian (recap here), which gave her three straight title defenses.

In the main event of the evening, Light Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes went the distance, and after 25 grueling minutes (highlights), “Bones” escaped “H-Town” with his title. Both men also got off with a minor 30-day sit.

Here’s the full list of suspensions from UFC 247.

Jon Jones: suspended until March 10.

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
